Jonathan has been in the lending industry since 2012, bringing more than a decade of experience and a broad understanding of real estate financing to every client and transaction.

Jonathan began his career as a commercial and construction lender, specializing in investment real estate acquisition financing, single-family and commercial construction loans, portfolio mortgages, and HELOCs. This experience provided him with a deep understanding of the many moving parts involved in real estate financing, from acquisition and construction to long-term lending strategies.

In 2021, Jonathan transitioned into consumer real estate and residential mortgage lending, where he has continued to serve clients ever since. Licensed in both Colorado and Arizona, Jonathan’s experience across commercial, construction, investment, and residential lending gives him a unique perspective and a comprehensive understanding of the financing landscape.

Jonathan strives to be more than just a mortgage lender. He believes in being a trusted resource and a first call throughout the financing process. Whether a client is purchasing a primary residence, investing in real estate, or exploring financing options, Jonathan’s extensive background allows him to provide knowledgeable guidance and help identify financing solutions that align with each client’s goals.

Over the years, Jonathan has also developed a strong network of trusted professionals across various sectors of the real estate industry. When a situation falls outside his area of expertise, he can often connect clients with reputable professionals who can provide the right guidance and support.

Outside of lending, family is at the center of Jonathan’s life. He and his wife, Sara, have two daughters, Mariah and Avery, and much of their time is spent supporting their daughters’ athletic pursuits, whether that’s watching games, coaching, or traveling to competitions. Mariah plays college basketball in California, while Avery plays club softball in Arizona. Between sports and travel, the Maestas family enjoys staying active, spending time together, and making the most of every opportunity to create lasting memories.
